P 0 S T #6: MELANCHOLY HILL

Jmmm if I had to choose a favorite band I would never get bored of listening to it would be Gorillaz, it's a "virtual" British band where the lead voice is Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.  I really like how they combine the styles of music on their albums, you can go from alternative rock to electronic or funk music at the same time!  I really find that it's a band that has it all and is ahead of its time, considering that they started in the 90's with this idea of a virtual band and characterizing the members with somewhat bizarre animated cartoons which is another point that I really like about the concept of the band.

It's hard for me to choose just one song, I would stick with the whole "Demon Days" album because their songs fill me with energy, especially the classic Feel Good Inc that I think you've already heard.  Another album that I would recommend you to listen is Plastic Beach, it has songs with more artists, it's a more instrumental and a little bit melancholic album, "Some Kind Of Nature" is one of my favorites :)  I hope you listen to them, you would be getting to know a new world of sounds!
